Nurten Polat Dede is currently working as an Associate Professor in the field of Human Resources Management at the University of Medipol, Business School. She has completed her PhD on ‘Human Resources Managers’ Roles and Competencies’ and her master's degree on ‘Culture and Negotiation’ at Istanbul University. She had her bachelor’s degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration (English Programme). Her main research interests are how line managers and HR managers can collaborate to design and implement efficient HR systems, policies and practices to achieve high organizational performance. Her research interests also include conflict and negotiation management, human resource value creation, family businesses.
