Özet

First of all, the probability distribution function (pdf) of extreme values in small samples originating from currently employed hydrological models has been derived. Moreover, the effect of serial correlation on the extreme values has been examined. Finally, a general procedure for calculating the extreme, such as floods, which takes into account the dependance of successive observations has been presented. - from Author
