The local architectural identity in our cities is undergoing rapid change and transformation as a result of factors such as socio-economic changes, socio-political effects, change in living conditions, diversification of daily life needs and change in society profile. It has been observed that the traditional houses that form the urban identity of Trabzon's Ortahisar district have entered into a rapid transformation process in recent years. Therefore, it is of great importance to reveal the values that traditional Ortahisar houses, which are under the pressure of rapid urbanization and urban renewal, have added to the city image. The purpose of this study is to reveal the architectural identity of the traditional houses in "Trabzon Protected Areas No I and II".
