Özet
This paper introduces two novel non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) configurations tailored for extra-large MIMO (XL-MIMO) systems, leveraging non-stationary channel characteristics to improve multi-userseparation and spectral efficiency (SE). Specifically, a visibility region (VR)-aware scheduling strategy is proposed, allowing the superposition of near and far-field users through both partial and full NOMA approaches. Low-complexity, VR-aware detection techniques are developed for each NOMA configuration. In this design, near-field users with distinct, non-overlapping VRs share frequency resources with a far-field user occupying a larger VR, with the proposed detection techniques ensuring effective multi-user separation. This approach enhances system capacity and supports massive connectivity within the XL-MIMO framework. Simulations demonstrate significant gains in bit error rate (BER) and SE across all users, while maintaining low complexity.
