Abstract

Cumulative (CSV) methodology is proposed for depicting qualitative regional features of air pollutants dispersion within an area. This technique provides useful information concerning the regional isotropy, continuity and dependence about the air pollutants distribution. It is also possible to obtain evidence that data can be approximated by certain types of regional stochastic models. The application of the proposed methodology is presented for smoke, sulfur dioxide and suspended particulate matter pollutants that are measured at different sites in the city of Istanbul. © 1995.
