Özet

Sub-band full duplex (SBFD) is a key enabler for 5G-Advanced and 6 G systems, as it supports simultaneous uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) transmissions over closely spaced sub-bands, thereby enhancing spectral efficiency (SE), reducing latency, and enabling flexible spectrum utilization. However, its practical deployment is severely constrained by adjacent channel interference (ACI) caused by leakage of high-power DL reflections into the UL band, which can severely degrade UL performance and reliability. This article proposes an SBFD-specific cyclic prefix (CP)-aware joint transmit/receive windowing technique that exploits asymmetric DL/UL CP support to suppress DL-induced leakage without extending the shared orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol duration. Simulation results show notable gains in signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) and bit error rate (BER), confirming the suitability of the proposed approach for interference-resilient SBFD operation in 5G-Advanced and beyond networks without introducing much complexity.
