Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of gynecological cancer deaths in the world. Early diagnosis of cervical cancer has increased with the widespread Pap smear screening. However, cervical cancer cases can be diagnosed restrospectively posthystrectomy due to inappropriate evaluation of the cases or ignorence. Radical parametrectomy and radiation therapy are the two treatment modalities used to treat cervical cancer cases diagnosed after simple hysterectomy. In the present study, we aimed to give comprehensive information about the causes of cervical cancer cases diagnosed post-hysterectomyly, treatment modalities and prognosis.
