ABD'nin Türkiye'den ithal edebileceği halde ithal
etmediği ürünler içinde Türkiye'nin rekabetçi olduğu ürünlerin sayısı 353 olup,
bu ürünlerde 2023 yılındaki küresel ithalatı ise 63,3 milyar dolar olmuştur.
Türkiye’nin bu ürünlerde 2023 yılındaki küresel ihracatı ise 27,6 milyar dolar
olmuştur.
ABD, 2023 yılında sektörel kırılımda en yüksek
ithalatı, 703,9 milyar dolarlık ürün ithal ettiği ‘Kimyevi Maddeler ve
Mamulleri’ sektöründe yaparken, bu ithalatın yaklaşık yüzde 0,25’ine denk gelen
1,75 milyar dolarını Türkiye’den tedarik etmiştir. Bu sektörde yapılan ithalat,
ABD’nin küresel ithalatının yaklaşık yüzde 22,2’sini oluşturmuştur. ABD’nin bu
sektörde Türkiye’den yaptığı ithalat ise, Türkiye’den yapılan toplam ithalatın
yaklaşık yüzde 10,6’sını oluşturmuştur. Türkiye’nin bu sektörde ABD pazarında
karşılaştığı ortalama tarife oranı ise yüzde 4,26 olmuştur. Bu sektör ABD’nin
Türkiye’den en çok ithalat yaptığı sektör olmuştur.
Bu raporda ilk önce ABD ekonomisi ile ilgili pazar
dinamiklerini gösteren bazı makroekonomik göstergeler incelendikten sonra,
eyalet bazında Türkiye ile dış ticaret analiz edilmiş ve ABD pazarlarına
ihracat potansiyeli yüksek ürünler tespit edilmiştir.
Among the products that the US could import from Türkiye but did not, the number of products in which Türkiye is competitive is 353, and the US's global imports of these products in 2023 were 63.3 billion dollars. Türkiye's global exports of these products in 2023 were 27.6 billion dollars.
The US made the highest imports in the sectoral breakdown in 2023 in the 'Chemical Substances and Products' sector, where it imported 703.9 billion dollars of products, and supplied 1.75 billion dollars of this import, corresponding to approximately 0.25 percent, from Türkiye. Imports made in this sector constituted approximately 22.2 percent of the US's global imports. The US's imports from Türkiye in this sector constituted approximately 10.6 percent of the total imports made from Türkiye. The average tariff rate Türkiye faced in the US market in this sector was 4.26 percent. This sector was the sector from which the US imported the most from Turkey.
In this report, after first examining some macroeconomic indicators showing market dynamics related to the US economy, foreign trade with Türkiye was analyzed on a state basis and products with high export potential to the US markets were identified.
