Özet
In today's world, the
emergence of new specialties from basic disciplines is a reality of all
scientific fields. Architecture, which is the discipline that meets all needs
regarding space design and construction to serve humans and nature, has
maintained its dominant existence for many years. However, developing
technology, product and material diversity, and the differentiation of needs
due to the increase in population have caused the applications covered by the
discipline of architecture to be implemented as separate areas of expertise.
Since these disciplines are complementary to each other and focus on designing
buildings and environments for humans, they cannot be considered separately
from each other. In this paper, course plan settlement of School of
Architecture and Design, in İstanbul Medipol University is presented as an
example of a design school education model which aims to provide
interdisciplinary working experience in the Interdisciplinary Design Studio 2
course by using BIM environment.
