Abstract

This study is prepared to evaluate corporate governance performance of participation banksin Turkey with the house of quality. For this purpose, an integrated model is constructed to evaluate the criteria and analyze the fuzzy pairwise and decision matrices. The method is proposedwith the hesitant fuzzy DEMATEL for weighting criteria and hesitant fuzzy TOPSIS for rankingthe alternatives. According to the expert opinions, it is concluded that foreign participation bankshave better performance in comparison with state-owned participation banks with respect tocorporate governance. For this reason, it can be said that state-owned participation banks should take actions to increase their performance regarding corporate governance by focusing onimportant criteria emphasized in the study.
