Özet

Sixth-generation (6G) networks require multiple-access schemes that jointly provide high spectral efficiency (SE), low receiver complexity, and robustness in frequency-selective channels. Although rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA) offers flexible interference management, its practical deployment is often limited by reliance on successive interference cancellation (SIC). This letter proposes a flexible RSMA framework in which the common stream is spread over configurable discrete Fourier transform (DFT) blocks, while private streams are transmitted using conventional orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM). By jointly tuning the DFT block structure and adopting a peak-aware power allocation strategy, the proposed design mitigates interference and reduces reliance on SIC. Simulation results demonstrate improved bit error rate (BER) performance while maintaining SE comparable to RSMA and NOMA under perfect channel state information (CSI), and significantly outperforming these baselines under imperfect CSI conditions.
