Özet

Positioning reference signals (PRS) defined in 3GPP standards offer a promising foundation for control-plane sensing in integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems. However, the comb-type pilot structure of PRS introduces periodic ambiguities in the range-Doppler plane, generating ghost targets that severely degrade multi-target detection performance in dense environments. Existing mitigation approaches either depend on user-plane data channels, provide only partial ambiguity suppression, or require modifications to standardized waveforms. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a multi-resolution sensing framework based on bandwidth part (BWP) multiplexing that resolves range-Doppler ambiguities entirely within the control-plane, without any modifications to PRS sequence generation or signal generation. The proposed architecture partitions the available spectrum into non-overlapping BWPs, each configured with a distinct pilot density, and exploits the resulting misalignment of ghost patterns through a Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT)-inspired adaptive fusion strategy. Two complementary operating modes are introduced: a low-complexity single-BWP mode for unambiguous scenarios, and an adaptive fusion mode for multi-zone ambiguity conditions. A comprehensive analytical framework is derived, covering the ambiguity function, probability of detection, ghost suppression probability, and computational complexity. Extensive simulation results under representative sub-6 GHz multi-target channels demonstrate that the proposed architecture achieves a ghost suppression gain of 4.77 dB and a 3 × unambiguous range extension over BWP-1 alone compared to conventional single-comb PRS, PRS+DMRS superposition, and irregular PRS baselines, while maintaining an acceptable computational complexity.
