Özet

The utilization of multiple numerology structures introduced with the advent of 5th Generation (5G) wireless communications systems has brought a significant flexibility to meet the application diversity. However, the use of multiple numerology structures has given rise to a new problem known as inter-numerology interference (INI). The literature has examined the INI subject in various sources, leading to the development of different designs tailored to multiple numerology structures. In this study, a multidimensional performance analysis is conducted on the groupings of 3GPP 5G numerology structures. Important considerations during the utilization of multiple numerology structures are highlighted. Analyses are presented for different spectrum frequency ranges, illustrating how the signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) for numerology groupings can vary based on changes in spectral efficiency. The impact of appropriate numerology grouping selections on performance is discussed, addressing weaknesses in the user-numerology association studies found in the literature.
