Considered as "immovable cultural property" within the framework of the Law on Protection of Cultural and Natural Assets valid in our country, and survey of historical buildings that need restoration using traditional and / or advanced documentation techniques; and to prepare of a re-functioning project with a function that will not damage the historical artifact.
This course contains; Surveying using traditional and / or advanced documentation techniques, Explanation of advanced documentation methods and techniques, Spatial and structural analysis of historical buildings, Survey drawing, explanation of measurement and dimensioning techniques, Materials used in historic buildings, Examination of historical structure interior, examination of building elements, analysis of structure system. Drawing principles in surveying projects, Describing the principles of drawing in survey drawings, Types of deterioration in historical interior spaces, causes, problems arising in the space organization, Types and scope of functions that can be suggested in the re-functioning ofhistorical structures ,type, form and details of materials that can be used in reused historical buildings, Simple repair principles and methods in the refunctioning of historical structures, Interior space analysis in historical bıildings (lighting, acoustic, etc).
